'Horse From The Hills'

The painting "Horse From The Hills" was inspired by a 300-year-old work depicting a horse with remarkably long hair. The original painting, created in 1691 by an unknown artist, was commissioned by the royal stable master of Sweden, who had traveled across Europe in search of fine horses for the King's stables. According to the text on the painting, the stable master himself had witnessed this horse in Brussels, noting that its tail measured "9 alnar" (approximately 4.5 meters) in length, and its mane was 5 alnar (around 3 meters) long.
